Same as last week

Going into the 4 game series vs the Crew, we were 3.5 back. The same is true of this series vs the Cards. This will be tougher because of Carpenter and Wainright- much better Ps than the Brewers threw. For some reason though, the Cubs have played some of their best baseball the past few years vs the Cards. Larussa has always pitched around Aram. Im anxious to see how he pitches him this weekend with him just coming back. He actually looked pretty good vs the Braves. I know Im probably setting myself up for a heartbreak this weekend, but hopefully we can get 3 of 4.

Yes... Let's DO IT. The Cub's beat the Brewers 3 out of 4. Now get the bat's out and do the same thing to the birdz. I know the Cardinals have better pitching but, "Sometime the Cubs have got to wake up thieir bat's" Hopefully their day off did them some good. We shall see...

Well, we've taken two out of the first three, with the ESPN game (nightcap of the day-night DH) still to come tonight. After the clunker Friday, it's nice to see how these guys can pick themselves off the deck. Currently 2 1/2 GB going into the nightcap, tied in the loss column. Now the Cubs can get within a game and a half, and be one up in the loss column, going into the break.
Let's play ball!
