Bradley??

Maybe this will help answer your question L. Elia. I dont know which broadcast you are getting to watch today. According to Hawk Harrelson and Steve Stone- Lou said that he is going to stop playing Bradley vs. Righthanded Ps. Of course he let him play today and MB didnt help himself much- he was just yanked in the 6th for some reason. So if Im hearing this right MB will now get to start 25 percent of the time since 75 percent of SP are Right handed. 10 million for a guy that is going to play this little.

So much for going to a more LH team as Fontenot continues to struggle as well. I think we are about to see a Hoff/ Fox platoon in RF when Rammy gets back

Milton Bradley was pulled from Friday's game after apparently exchanging some words with Lou Piniella in the dugout. Bradley was replaced in right field in the sixth by Ryan Freel. Bradley was called out on strikes in the first, struck out swinging in the fourth, and flew out to left in the sixth.

Piniella originally wanted to sit Bradley against White Sox starter Jose Contreras because of the switch-hitting outfielder's struggles from the left side. He entered the game batting .205 against right-handed pitchers.

According to cubs insider Farney, Bradley knew Lou was going to put Marmol aka Autowalk in the game and he was pissed about it.

Piniella and Bradley have it out; Bradley leaves ballpark
By Paul Sullivan

After flying out in his last at-bat Friday in the sixth inning, Milton Bradley threw his helmet in the Cubs dugout and took after the Gatorade cooler. Manager Lou Piniella then followed Bradley to the tunnel leading to the clubhouse, where the two exchanged angry words.

Bradley was replaced in right field by Ryan Freel.

And don't expect any postgame explanation for Bradley's confrontation with Piniella.

Bradley was spotted in street clothes headed to the players' parking lot at U.S. Cellular Field, and sources confirm he has left the park.

Piniella will give his side of the story in his postgame interview session, which will be broadcast live on Comcast Sports Net following Ozzie Guillen's press conference.

He just isn't cutting it as a Cub. Unless he is off to a hospital, Sammy, I mean, Bradley, should not be leaving the ballpark during the game while his TEAM is still playing.

And then Gregg struck out Pods on a pitch that really missed the zone. Pods is not too happy.

I am going to reserve judgement until I hear the whole story. Piniella didnt want to comment at the time of his post game. But I am pissed at him. I have defended him all season, and this happens.

I will wait to hear the whole story.

But if you are going to be pissed at Bradley, you have to be pissed at Zambrano who leaves games early often as well according to a report that came out after he missed the team flight to Atlanta June 1

He supposedly went into the duggout and threw his helmet and bashed a water cooler. Lou said he had enough of that and told him to take his uniform off and go home. Lou then followed him up to the clubhouse where words were exchanged. Lou said it had been going on for some time now. He didnt clarify if it was just Bradley or other guys as well.

Again as I posted earlier, according to Stone and Harrellson, Lou had told them he wasnt going to play Bradley anymore vs RH pitchers. They were surprised when he was in the lineup.

When asked if he was playing tomorrow, Lou responded at first he didnt know. Then it must have crossed his mind that Beurhle was throwing so he said his name would be in the lineup.
