Fuld adding a spark

It sort of reminds me of Fontenot two years ago when he came up. Lets just hope it continues as did Fontenot's first month. I still think Soriano needs to be in the line up, but maybe Fuld can slide over a spot for a while

Nice to see Sam Fuld come in and contribute with his bat & glove. You can see the desire to make a good impression on someone in some organization to get a job in the "Show". So far he deserves to play over Soriano. But we will have to see what happens. Maybe Lou will sit MB or Fukudome down for a day or two. I would like to see him play a little not just use him and send him back when Reed Johnson comes back. Boy if Hendry wouldn't have overpaid for some of these guys maybe you could have a hope of trading them. Maybe they could get the federal government involved and the government could offer some type of "Stimulus Package" to anyone that wants Soriano?

He improves the defense tremendously. There was a ball hit last night late in the game that Fuld made look easy. If Sori was in LF it probably wouldnt have been made. Technically it was probably Fukudomes ball , but he plays so deep in CF that he didnt have a chance. I would say he has made a pretty good impression the past couple of nights. Lou has to play the hot bats right now, and with none of the 3 OFs hitting on a consistent basis, Fuld looks to get more time.

Fortunately for the Cubs, it was a 2-1 win in 10, but Soriano went 0-for-5.
