Bye Bye Lee

I don't know if you care, but I don't care if Derek Lee goes away. He's been nothing but an average offensive ballplayer since coming here. He had one good year in Florida. With the Cubs he does nothing but end rallies by hitting into double plays, so if he goes I will not shed a tear for him or anyone for that matter. Aramis, start hitting or you're next !!!

If the Angels are willing to take a majority of the contract with him, I am all about this, as much as i like Lee i think what we could clear up in return from this would help. What about Lilly? Hes 1-5 does he get traded too? his contract is up too

Wow, you're expectations are ridiculously high. He's had three seasons with the Cubs that were much better than anything he did in Florida.

The time to trade Lee would have been in the offseason though.

That'll show him, its not like he's ever hit game-winning home runs ever or took multiple hometwon discounts to stay with the Cubs. What a freakin' bum.

Lets get Chad Tracy up here to show him how it's done. I bet if fans start booing loud enough when Aram bats, it'll hurt his feelings enough to start hitting. He's obviously not smart enough to know he's struggling.

Hey Mike...add yourself to the giant list of moron's on this site!

To describe DLee as average, is to describe AIDS as a moderate illness...

DLee has been a top 50 player in all of baseball over his time with the Cubs...Probably in the 30's...He will be missed!

Wow, Bims/Banks, you got your facts straight for once, I'm impressed.

Even a blind squirrel can get a nut once in awhile.

Lee is 26th in Total WAR for all batters (including DH) from 2004-2009.
