I don't remember if I told you guys this or not..
But I'm going to Paris for Christmas. I'm actually in New York right now waiting for my flight, which is delayed and wont be ariving for another 4 1/2 hours. I'm on my laptop right now, and there's wireless internet at the hotel we're in, so I'll still be on a bit, but I wont be on as much. And for all you to know, I'm waering my shirt with a giant Cubbies logo on the front, and I'm getting great looks from all the New York fans.

I'm saving my D-Lee shirt for later.
I'll tell you guys about my awesome time getting here. And by awesome, I mean completly sucktastic.
So if it's not bad enough that we spent an hour in line just to check in, then our flight takes a good 45 minutes just going around the runway. So then we get to JFK in New York, and after going all the way around the airport looking for our terminal, we find out that our 6:15 flight was delayed until 8:45. So instead of being stuck in the airport for 4 hours like we would of, we have to wait for 6. So we were sitting there bored out of our minds, because their was nothing to do. Then they don't even start boarding the plane until 8:45, so we were obviously going to be delayed even more, but it was ridiculously more. We sat on the plane at the gate for till about 10:15, then we finally left, and drove around the runways till almost 11. Then we get in the air, and of course, there just happens to be a baby 3 rows in front of me crying. Now at first, the baby was on and off, he'd only cry for a few seconds, then stop. but about halfway through the flight, when everyone was trying to sleep, including me, he was balling his eyes out. And this baby wasn't just crying normally. This baby had the most ear piercing wail ever. I could not sleep, and I was thanking god once we got off the plane. I still haven't slept since I left, so I've been up for over 30 hours. Thank god for French espresso to keep me up.

It sounds like an exciting trip (minus the delays and baby crying). I've always wanted to go to Paris. Have a great time, wear your jersey with pride and tell us all about it when you get back and Merry Christmas!
