Hey all,

Welcome to the board, i'd like to see him get to 600 or even 700, while being stricly tested for steroids...he pretty much needs to prove himself all over again......with that being said, my humble personal opinion of him is he's a dick. Back when he was with the whitesox my homie asked him for an autograph and sosa responded with and quote "I'm Sammy Sosa i'll kick you ****ing @ss" and this was before the success that eventually went to his head.

I was mad at Sammy for a while, but it's over. I'm going to see him April 17th (at 7:11, that still makes me chuckle) over at the Cell. I agree he will have to prove himself again. And that, I think, is what will drive him to be good again.
If he's able to get his swing back (and his swagger, both lost when Salomon Torres beamed him in the head), he should be able to put up 25-30 homers a year in that lineup.

I think he burned to many bridges when he left. I have to admit I am glad he is gone, as he had started to be come a problem. Yet I find myself silently (and maybe reluctantly) rooting for him.

I was disappointed in Sosa when he used that corked bat back in '04, and somewhat with his attitude, but I still respect him. I hope he has a decent season in Texas and crushes the White Sox.

What he did to end his tenure here was dumb, but I don't easily forget the decade of greatness he gave us especially when he was all we had to be proud about for a very long time. Or when he did things like round the bases with an American flag, I don't turn my back so easily mistakes happen.
