Griffey

There has been a lot of talk circling around Griffey Jr. and the possibility of getting traded. There has even been some talk that he may be traded to us. I really was not in favor of it because of what we may have to part with in order to get him. The guy is 37. After watching the ALL STAR game, my feeling has definately changed. With exception to Reyes, he looks like the best player on the field. There is no doubt he can still run them down in CF as well. This guy looks like he can play 7 or 8 more years with ease. I thought they moved him to RF this year because maybe he was showing his age. I was wrong. The only Question is what do we give up.

I've always been a Griffey fan, and would love to see him in our outfield. I think he can still play CF. He was moved for Ryan Freel, but playing in the corner could be helping him stay healthy.

To me he still looks young out there not just by the way he plays but his face as well. I havent watched Cincy much this year, but he looks great tonight- a heck of a lot better than our guys do.

I obviously stand corrected by saying Grif looks better than our guys- Sori just hit a two run oppo shot in the ninth. Now DLEE has a shot to win it.

Man, I agree completely... he looks 30 again... hitting well, running well.

And you can tell he is just having fun again playing the best game on earth.

Glad to see it, I would welcome him in a heartbeat.

This would take care of a left handed bat in the lineup and a hole in the lineup.

I hate to say it but if Wade Miller completes his rehab it looks like Marshall might leave. I wouldn't want to give him up but eariler in the year when they were talking this is who the Reds wanted....I would hate to see Marshall traded....I'd give them Jones, Izturis and a prospect.
