Griffey has always been one of my favorite all time players. Class act all the way. And yeah he can play a little ball.

It's too bad that Griffey has had all the injurys in the second half of his career. If he would have stayed healthy, he would have been the one that broke Henry Aarons record, someone that we all would have been proud to accomplish it. I always thought that he has the best lefthanded swing of anybody since "sweet swingin'", Billy Williams.

What a gamer . He toughed it up long enough to hold Theroit then dropped. Tons of respect for that kind of spirit .

I'm a big fan of Griff as well (wouldn't mind seeing him in Cubbie blue). I think it's a pretty general feeling among Cubs fans because he got a pretty huge ovation when he was walking off the field yesterday.

One of the best to ever play the game. Almost has 600 hr and you know that he's clean.

Amen to all the Griffey comments here. I was pumped when the rumors surfaced about the Cubs' interest in him.
